How we keep RaveDragons safe, respectful, and true to rave culture — on every feed, message, crew chat, and festival hub.
Our vibe
RaveDragons is built for ravers to connect before, during, and after festivals. These rules apply to posts, comments, direct messages, crew names, crew chat, crew map presence, raised hands, avatars, and any other content you share in the App.
Be respectful
Treat other ravers with respect. No harassment, bullying, threats, or targeted abuse.
No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar grounds.
Respect boundaries in direct messages. Unwanted sexual content or persistent contact after someone declines is not allowed.
Keep it legal and safe
No illegal content, including incitement to violence or instructions for illegal activity.
No sale or solicitation of illegal drugs or other prohibited goods.
No content that exploits or endangers minors in any way.
No sharing of private information about others without consent (doxxing).
Festival content
Share real photos and moments from festivals and rave culture. Illustrations, memes, and unrelated spam may be removed.
Revealing festival outfits are welcome; explicit nudity, sexual acts, and pornography are not.
Do not post graphic violence, gore, weapons used to threaten, or hate symbols.
Crews
Crew names and chat must follow the same respect and safety rules as festival content. Offensive, impersonating, or misleading crew names may be renamed or removed.
Only request to join crews you genuinely want to be part of. Spam join requests or using crews to harass members is not allowed.
Crew owners are responsible for moderating their crew chat. Remove members who break these guidelines and report serious issues to us.
The crew map shows your last uploaded approximate location to other logged-in App users. Do not use the map to stalk, dox, or intimidate others. Never share another member's location outside the App without consent.
Do not create crews primarily to sell illegal goods, promote hate, or evade a ban. We may dissolve crews that violate these guidelines.
Rave buddies: raising a hand
“Raise Hand” broadcasts a short message and the festival you pick to ravers near you who are sharing their location, so you can find people to link up with for that festival. Keep it respectful and honest — no solicitation of illegal goods, no sexual solicitation, and no misleading intent.
While your hand is raised, others near you can see your exact location as a pin on the map — raising a hand is an explicit “come find me” choice, so only raise one when you are comfortable sharing where you are. Do not use raised hands or crews to stalk, dox, harass, or intimidate anyone, and never share another user's location outside the App without consent.
When someone joins your hand, the two of you start a crew — a group chat with someone you may not know. The same respect, safety, and content rules apply there as everywhere else in the App.
Meeting people from the App is your own choice and responsibility. Meet in public, tell a friend where you are going, and trust your instincts.
You can block or report anyone from a raised hand or a crew message, and you can turn off nearby raised-hand notifications in Settings. Blocking hides you and the other person from each other across raised hands and crews.
Automated moderation
Photos and text may be scanned automatically before they appear in a festival feed, crew chat, or before your avatar is updated. Content that fails these checks will not be published. Repeated attempts to post prohibited content may lead to account restrictions.
Reporting
If you see content or behaviour that breaks these guidelines or appears illegal, use the in-app report option on a post, direct message, crew map entry, crew chat message, or raised hand. You can also email info@ravedragons.com. We review reports and may remove content, warn users, rename or dissolve crews, or suspend accounts.
Enforcement
We may remove content, temporarily lock an account, rename or dissolve a crew, remove crew members, or permanently ban users who violate these guidelines or our App Terms of Use. Serious or repeated violations may be reported to authorities where required by law.
